很多寶寶告訴我名詞前的這些詞五花八門，都是些什么呀？說到底是大家還不明白什么是限定詞。
大多數語法學家都按上述標準對詞類進行劃分。但有一些英國語法學家把一些詞歸在一起,稱為限定詞(Determiners),主要指用在名詞前輔助說明詞義的詞。
1) 冠詞 a，an，the
Lucy is in the garden. 露西在花園里。
You need a visa to go there. 你去那里需要簽證。
2) 物主代詞 my，your，his 等
The girls are sitting with their mother.姑娘們和她們的母親坐在一起。
A tree drops its leaves in autumn.樹在秋天會落葉。
3)用作定語的某些不定代詞
all much every few neither another no anylittle both other many each more several most some either
4)用作定語的指示代詞、疑問代詞、關系代詞,如 this，what，whose，whatever 等
而美國語言學家不做這種區分,干脆把用作定語的代詞稱為形容詞。例如:
This isHelen's room.(代詞)
This room ismine.(形容詞)
You can have either of them.(代詞)
You can have either one.(形容詞)
除冠詞外,大多數限定詞都與代詞緊密相連,
主要差別在于代詞作主語、賓語等,而限定詞作定語。
它們的意思也是互相聯系的。從實用角度看,這一區分并不重要(美國詞典一般都沒有限定詞這個說法)。
