（1）在復雜特殊疑問句中，一般疑問句的動詞都是表示判斷、推測、猜度的動詞，例如think, suppose, guess, say, tell, believe, hope, imagine, propose等。
Who do you think is wrong? 你認為誰錯了?
What time does the letter say he will leave for France? 信上說他將何時動身去法國？
What does she find is the most important difference between day and night nursing? 她覺得白天護理和夜間護理最大的不同是什么？
Why do you think Mrs. Green wants to buy that kind of cloth very much? 你認為格林夫人為什么那么喜歡那種布料？
（2）動詞的產生主要是對動詞后的賓語從句的某個成分提問而形成的。
What did he say he had read? 他說他讀了什么? （He said he had read the novel.）
Why do you suppose he won't come? 你認為他為什么不來? （I suppose that he won't come because he is ill.）
